blood and lace

It’s always night here

We gotta watch our backs

The storms keep on coming

Blood pours through the cracks

But we walk on

Heads up to the sky

We stumble sometimes

But we get by

It rains so much here

The rivers overflow 

The dams start to break

Dark waves take control

But we walk on

Heads up to the sky

We stumble sometimes

But we get by

It gets so cold here

Everything starts to freeze

& the steps start to slip

Wind blows from the sea

But we walk on

Heads up to the sky

We fall sometimes

But we still fly 

& the stars here

Sparkle so bright

& the fire always burns

Every day

Every night

So we walk on

Heads up to the sky

We stumble sometimes

But still we shine
